The Best of 2012

We’ve never done end of the year lists mostly because we’re a really charming combo of lazy and indecisive, but for whatever reason the other day I made a list on my phone of my top albums for 2012 and I figured I’d share them. Undoubtedly I forgot at least a few greats but whatever, here are the albums that changed my life in 2012:

(in no particular order)

Father John Misty Fear Fun
The Orwells Remember When
Lace Curtains The Garden of Joy and the Well of Loneliness
Beach House Bloom
Frank Ocean Channel Orange
Foreign Fields Anywhere But Where I Am
Grizzly Bear Shields
Dum Dum Girls End of Daze (EP)
Ty Segall Twins
Jack White Blunderbuss
The Avett Brothers The Carpenter
First Aid Kit The Lion’s Roar

Congrats to these artists whose lives I have just changed.
